Khloe Kardashian claims PETA’s flour-bomber was “bullying” Kim Kardashian

Yes, we are still talking about The Flour-Bombing of The Kat-Face: An American Tragedy in Three Acts. First act: the flour-bombing on the red carpet of Kim’s perfume launch, after which she laughed it off and declined to press charges. Second act: Kim milks the situation for more attention, telling everyone that she has decided to press charges against her flour-y assailant because Kim wants every flour-bomber to know that they can not and will not get away with it. Third act: the political ramifications, as they are. It was reported that Kim’s assailant was some kind of animal-rights person, and that she shouted “fur hag” at Kim as she dumped flour-bombed Kim. Immediately following the incident, PETA denied that the woman was acting under their orders. Now it looks like the assailant was actually closely associated with PETA. So now PETA activist Khloe Kardashian is raging:

The person who pelted Kim Kardashian with a flour bomb on the red carpet has been identified as one of PETA’s most influential members. It comes after the animal rights charity denied having any involvement in last week’s incident. The news has prompted Kim’s younger sister Khloe to cut all ties with the animal rights organization.

The assailant, Christina Cho, has been involved in anti-fur stunts in support of PETA before. Christina Cho once grabbed a microphone from designer Donna Karan at a Women’s Conference in order to rant about the use of fur in fashion, and won an award from the organisation in 2010. It was believed that the person who pelted 31-year-old Kim at her perfume launch had shouted ‘fur hag’ in the process, but PETA told TMZ shortly afterwards that they were not in any way involved.

A representative said: ‘It was not [us]. We were given the video by an anti-fur activist on the scene.’ However they added: ‘PETA has tried everything from polite letters to public protests, but Kim Kardashian has not been moved by the news that animals are beaten, electrocuted, and even skinned alive for real fur garments. Whoever threw that flour may reach her when our polite appeals did not.’

PETA recently posted a billboard in Los Angeles that featured a photo of the curvy star wearing a fur-trimmed jacket. A picture of two foxes was included, along with the caption: ‘Kim: These babies miss their mother. Is she on your back?’

The revelation has led Khloe to fume about their ‘bullying’ and say vehemently that she will ‘no longer support PETA’.

She said in a statement: ‘Not only has PETA lied to the public, but they have proved that they support this kind of behaviour. I’ve been a vocal supporter of PETA for a long time but I have also been very vocal about anti-bullying, so this was a huge disappointment for me. As you all know, I don’t condone violence and bullying and what happened last Thursday was just that. I am absolutely disgusted by their behavior. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions — I personally don’t wear fur but that doesn’t mean I am going to force my views on anyone else, ESPECIALLY by violating them.’

The 27-year-old added that she was ‘proud’ of her sister for the way she handled the incident, which happened at the London hotel in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Khloe said: ‘I am a very proud sister right now, because Kim handled last week’s incident like a champ. She got cleaned up and was back out there in a matter of minutes. Go Kimmie! We all need to practice what we preach. I will still continue to NOT wear fur, but I will no longer support PETA. Bullying and harassment is NEVER a solution, and I won’t be a part of any organization that thinks otherwise.’

Khloe has posed nude for the organisation’s ‘I’d rather go naked’ anti-fur campaign.

A PETA representative told MailOnline: ‘We have no confirmation on who it was.’

[From The Mail]

Ugh. So much sound and fury over this dumb incident. I mean… sure. Animal rights. You shouldn’t wear fur, etc. It was dumb to flour-bomb Kim Kardashian over her “fur hag” antics, though. And it’s even dumber for Kim and now Khloe to milk this incident into some kind of epic catastrophe. It’s just a cacophony of stupid at this point. Do you mind if I stop caring?

UPDATE: Oh, and Khloe once met Christina Cho’s sister Michelle, who works for PETA.

So the Kardashian’s have brought out the big one to try to garner sympathy for Kim. Sorry, not working for me. Still don’t care.

  2. Neelyo says:

Bullying, like racism, has become one of the most misused words of the last five years.

    • The Truth Fairy says:

Totally agree. They are playing the “bully card” to gain sympathy points. Can a super wealthy brat with a security detail be bullied? It’s insulting to the kids out there who actually ARE bullied and are committing suicide because of it.

Also, PETA has been flour-bombing fur wearers for years and yet Khloe still supported them. But now that it’s done to her sister, she’s upset? What a hippo-crite! (misspelling intentional)

I hate this entire family, and Rob’s arrest rounds out the trifecta of recent Kardashian events that I hope mark the beginning of the end for this pathetic and disgusting family.

    • jen d. says:

People are jumping on that bandwagon way too much.

    • brasileira says:

      AGREE!

    • francesca says:

Agreed! Bullying is something that is done to defenseless or vulnerable members of our population. Fully functioning adults cannot be “bullied”. They can be verbally or physically abused or they can be insulted or ridiculed. They can be made fun of and spoken about viciously but they cannot be bullied.

    • Amanda G says:

Thank you for saying this! Agreed!

  3. brin says:

Now they are all going to be yapping about this and probably have it on their idiotic show.

  4. paola says:

That second pic of KK is scary, her eyes seem so empty and lifeless!
she looks like a doll and i’m sure that just like dolls she has a hair knot instead of a brain.

  5. mln76 says:

Wil Smith for once said a smart thing to paraphrase he said the guy who shot Trayvon Martin wasn’t arrested but the girl who threw flour at a Kardashian is.
That shows how screwy our value system is in the US.

    • Tiffany27 says:

      THIS!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!
That little boy looks just like my little cousin 🙁

    • SN says:

The problem is not that the flour throwing girl was arrested, any more than it’s a problem if a bike thief or someone doing graffiti gets arrested- minor crimes are still crimes and should get addressed.

The problem is that Zimmerman was not arrested.

    • trollontheloose says:

actually Will Smith doesn’t own a twitter account. this own belongs to a dude in TN..

  6. Nu truth says:

“personally don’t wear fur..” Bitch! Don’t act all high and mighty. You know your shoes and purses are made of crocodile, snake and what not. So these animals deserve to be skinned so you can wear them? Why, because they are not as cute and fluffy furry as minks and chinchillas?

Give me a freaking break, she only did the Peta stuff to get PR, we know how all these K-skanks role…

    • hoya_chick says:

EXACTLY. That ostentatious Birkin bag is made of leather is it not? Such hypocrisy. Let’s all stop talking about them and hopefully they will all fade into oblivion.

    • sandra says:

Peta doesn’t need those blowhards. She deserved to get flour bombed – she is a fur hag. No sympathy. I still believe they paid someone to do this for the publicity.

  7. fancyamazon says:

I believe they may have hired a PETA follower to pull this stunt.

  8. eva says:

PETA pull stunts like this all the time, if not worse with red paint. Khloe obviously knew about that and was willing to be affiliated with them, but now that it happened to her sister it’s not ok and is ‘bullying’? Hypocrite!!

  9. Katren says:

They’re such idiots. How can she claim to be against fur, but be happy for her sister to wear it (and herself wear leather, snakeskin etc)?? Clearly none of them care about animal rights, they are just giant famewhores desperate for more publicity. Kim was probably deliriously happy to get flour bombed so she had something else to go on and on and on about.

I always think who the hell still watches the Kardashian shows or buys their products, but unfortunately I know more than a few people who love them 🙁

  10. Katie says:

It’s not bullying if there isn’t an imbalance of power. I hardly think poor Kimmie was powerless against the flour thrower. I hate that bullying has become such a diluted term.

  11. samira677 says:

I get the feeling that people who think this is so funny wouldn’t feel the same if it happened to themselves. I don’t care about Kim but I do think these stunts are stupid. I am also annoyed she and her family are getting too much attention.

  12. D1 says:

You guys know how Peta always flour/paint-bombs men for wearing a lot of leather? Oh right, that never happens – PETA activists are too cowardly to attack a man.

And yeah, flour-bombing is an attack. Not to mention that it must be pretty scary to have some unknown substance thrown at you before you know what it is.

Either it’s wrong or it isn’t – whether you like the victim is irrelevant (i.e., if you’re okay with KK getting flour-bombed, you should also be okay with someone doing this to your mom because she was wearing a leather boots)

    • Trillium says:

Men are not as high-profile fashion icons when it comes to those products as women are…I would love to see someone do that to Kanye West, however.

  13. Yvie says:

We have been bullied for the last few years….putting up with this damn family! People get thrown with stuff…..get over yourself!!

  14. Maya says:

So Khloe was fine supporting PETA even though they’ve proven, time and time again, that they have no problem using sexism or racism to make their point (they once compared animal cruelty to the HOLOCAUST, for God’s sake), and that their methods usually involve using ridiculous and often offensive shock tactics (porn site, anyone?)…But none of that, of course, is comparable to their ‘bullying’ of poor Kimmy.

Sorry for the rant, but celebrities who support PETA just bug me. There are other animal rights organizations who actually go about achieving their intentions in respectful and sensible ways.

    • ol cranky says:

am I the only one concerned about this statement:
‘PETA has tried everything from polite letters to public protests, but Kim Kardashian has not been moved by the news that animals are beaten, electrocuted, and even skinned alive for real fur garments. Whoever threw that flour may reach her when our polite appeals did not.’

considering what passes for discourse in today’s society and the horrifically divisive politics in the US, it sounds like they’re saying that when a group can’t get you to live according to their dogma by “asking politely” they’re OK with escalation of actions against an “offender” until that person just does what that group says. That is a very dangerous sentiment to say the least

  15. eternalcanadian says:

Did anyone notice the various pictures and videos of this flour-bombing? All the people around Kim did not look surprised or horrified. In fact several laughed or had the beginnings of a smirk on their faces. It was like they expected it or were not surprised this happened. I am not certain how that episode smacks of PETA bullying? Wasn’t this person not affiliated with PETA and when it came out they might be charged PETA said they would look after the legal charges. That’s how they recruit. So it is entirely plausible this person was not acting on behalf of PETA in the first place. And for Khloe to call PETA bullies, is she truly that ignorant? What does she think PETA does to get attention? And she never stopped wearing clothes made of animal skin nor did she change the clothing in their stores to be non-animal. And to let her family continue wearing fur? A total hypocrite. She’s playing the whole PETA thing for attention. In fact the whole lot of them Kardashians are just plain idiots and hungry for fame they will do anything to get attention, including getting flour-bombed.

    • fancyamazon says:

I agree, and this is why I believe that they hired a PETA activist for this stunt. It is beneath neither of them to pull this type of stupidity.

  16. FeverDream says:

PETA is so out of control.
    I LOVE it!

  17. Steph says:

THAT IS SO DUMB OF KHLOE TO SAY THAT! You know what PETA stands for and now you’re going to retract promoting their cause? These girls and their quick buck ways, one day they are going to get bit in the ass, hard.

  18. Agnes says:

khloe knows what peta is all about, and she knew that when she decided to be a spokesperson for peta. did she think that they will exempt her sister, kim, from their anti-fur campaign just because khloe is involved with peta? was khloe supposed to be a free pass for kim? the kardashians really are idiots.

  19. Franny says:

I thought that was very well thought out and said by Khloe. I know you guys are all “this isn’t bullying” but honestly, if someone came up to you and threw a punch of powder on you, you would feel bullied too. I’m happy to hear that Khloe is anti-fur and doesn’t support PETA anymore. PETA is outrageous anyway, and while I support their anti killing for fur, they need to calm it down.

  20. hillbillygirl45 says:

I still think PimpMama orchestrated this in some way. I agree that there were very few surprised looks surrounding Mini-me. How come Kris K. didn’t break her neck rushing to rescue her cash-cow? IMO, this was done to off-set all the negative publicity Kim has had lately. You know, fake wedding, Jon Hamm, etc. Sympathy is what they’re after, but, they ain’t gettin’ it from me. P.S. I also aree with what Will Smith said.

  21. Katalina says:

All I see is the price tag on the bottom of Katface’s shoe in the top pic. KLASSY.

  22. Mia says:

So PETA knows for next time, since they’re going to make such a big stink over it, PETA should dump paint.

  23. Dawn says:

Oh so much drama for such a little pre-planned and likely paid for event. Now if the media would stop covering it, it would be great.

  24. Veruca says:

I feel like I’m bullied by the Kardashians simply because they exist and insist that I know that.

    Can I sue?

  25. Katren says:

Sorry this was meant to be a reply to comment 12 by D1

Honestly I don’t think it’s fair to compare someone who is being photographed by so many people and have so much security detail around them to someone walking alone on the street getting something thrown at them. And people keep saying it could have been anything being thrown at her – it was flour. It wasn’t some liquid that could be caught on fire, it was flour. I honestly do not see this as the violent assault so many other people seem to see it as.

And (correct me if I’m wrong) but leather usually is a by product from animals that are being killed for their meat, whereas animals are skinned alive for their fur only. It hardly seems the same to me.

    • SN says:

You’re wrong about on the leather thing – unfortunately. I love leather and used to think I was morally superior to fur wearers, but after reading up on the industry, I know that I’m really not much better.

    • D1 says:

When I look at these comments, I don’t see people saying, “It’s okay because she has security detail” I see, “It’s okay because I hate her”.

Do you really think that if this woman did this to a well-loved celeb like Meryl Streep or Cate Blanchett people here would be cackling about it or saying, “whatever, she has security detail”?

My point is – whether or not you believe something is criminal & unacceptable behavior should not depend on whether you like the victim. I can only hope that people with that kind of mentality avoid jury duty.

  26. grabbyhands says:

Nice. Khloe, bullying? I do not think that word means what you think it means. Thanks for trivializing it. I’m guessing it won’t be long until your mother or one of your other sisters compares it to rape and then invokes a Holocaust comparison, either-therefore cementing your trifecta of stupidity.

  27. TG says:

I am only disappointed that the flour throwing had to do with fur. Why couldn’t it have just been somebody tired of her lies. Which is funny because Khloe claims Peta lies so I guess it takes one to know one. I do not watch their show anymore. I used to really like it even though their mom was the worst of all of them followed closely by her favorite daughter Kimmie. Then the wedding fiasco and all the lies that came out of that so I do not watch their show and rarely pay attention to them anymore only this flour throwing incident was too good to pass up since she deserved it. But I am wondering if others aren’t correct in that this was set up to get the attention that they weren’t getting from many of us, including me.

  28. Lynne says:

Not only did khloe meet the assailants sister Michelle but she was on the kardashians tv show.
I still think that this was a stunt and PETA hasn’t changed, they were bullys when khloe signed on.

  29. ohmy! says:

This entire thing was staged for publicity from the get-go. They only changed the “story line” to include pressing charges when they saw ppl were onto their stunt so they changed directions to get more press/sympathy and attempt to make it look “real”.
The PETA controversy is just icing on the famewhore cake for them. The woman who thru the flour was set-up to do just that. which is why no one around them looked surprised when she did it. Now they’re giving her more cash to continue the story that they are pressing charges but nothing will come of it b/c it is ALL A STUNT! All this was to get her more sympathy since ppl are getting sick of their fake stunts.
Heck, this one is actually more scripted and planned more than the wedding. I doubt Kloe every understood the whole PETA thing, most of these celebs pose for them for their own publicity not the cause itself but again, their getting more press b/c of it and thats really all its about with these ppl. After all, any attetnion is good!

  30. anya says:

Well, I for one remember the episode of their stupid show in which Khloe posed for PETA. Kim was there behind the scenes coaching her on the horrors of animals being skinned to ‘prepare’ her for the shoot!! Hypocritical much? This family has no principles apart from fame and dollars- I’m glad PETA has called attention to it, lest we forget for a second

    • dahlia1947 says:

Oh yeah I remember that! Kim is a hypocritical, evil bi&*h. “Oh yeah Khloe wearing fur is bad. Now pose.” Supporting Khloe eh? Yeah by being a hypocritical cow/pig! No offense to cows or pigs! 😀

  31. Psyren says:

The side eye that chick is giving Kim in that second pic pretty much sums up my feelings on this whole matter.

  32. Rachel() says:

I’m with Khloe on this. The people at PETA are whacked out of their minds. Who’s to say that the next person won’t throw acid on someone? Or shoot them? Fanatics don’t always have limits and that freaks me out. This is kind of a fame whore move, but I support anyone who draws attention to the fact that PETA is a f*cked up organization.

    • Trillium says:

Your hysteria is unnecessary. PETA has never done anything like that, and never will.

PETA is not perfect, nobody is, but they do their best to get publicity to attract attention to the cruelty, torture and murder inflicted on animals for selfish human purposes. It’s not always good publicity, but as we know since we are reading this site, bad publicity gets FAR MORE attention.

  33. Rachel() says:

That’s the real fun of the show! Trying to figure out exactly how much is scripted and how much of it (if any) is legit.

  34. stephanie says:

Can you please stop showing that picture of her from behind?! Her ass disturbs me on a level I never knew could exist.

  35. Cait says:

It was a bag of flour, for god’s sake…she wasn’t hurt. Just can’t feel bad for the whiny famewhores that are the Kardashians.

  36. OhMyMy says:

That open mouthed pic of her makes me flashback to Dumb and Dumber and Jim Carrey making the most annoying sound in the world.

  37. Kim says:

PETA would say they were involved if they were – they always do.

I think Kim set the whole thing up for attention and now her fat ass man sister is joining in to get some attention.

  38. Kim says:

Oh Kim loved it. After all she loves things being poured on her.

  39. Faxon415 says:

I think they just want to start a fur wearing revolution really. This was all a huge stunt by mamaK and I think they want to throw PETA into the mix just so they wont get blasted anymore for wearing fur. This family is digusting, I am sad that those 2 jenner children have already been corrupted by the lack of morals of the mother.

  40. JudyK says:

Until you can talk like an adult woman instead of in baby voice, just STFU.

  41. Holden says:

As a straight man, I can’t tell you how horrible it is we have all lost the ability to see Chewbacca’s heavily, heavily airbrushed not really naked pictures.

  42. Just Sayin says:

I would say that the person in the picture with the sun glasses and blue bag looks alot like the late Roy “Rocky” Davis, but that would be an insult to Mr. Davis. JS. 🙂

  43. the original bellaluna says:

Please don’t ever stop using that picture of Lardassian from behind in those pleggings. It rivals Linnocent in her “Baby Jane” pink fur coat.

And I defy ANYONE to show me ONE MEMBER OF THAT FAMILY who DOESN’T WEAR LEATHER SHOES.

  44. Leda says:

As much as I hate to say it, I’n with Khloe, here. If someone threw flour on my sister I would be ten kinds of furious. It is unkind to humiliate someone in public like that, no matter your personal beliefs. The old saying that “my right to swing my fist ends where your face begins” applies here. I don’t like the Kardashians, but I would sure as hell not be supporting an organisation that attacked my sister, even with flour.

  45. Pasquale says:

That skank bullied Kris Humphries and continues to do so in the press by playing the wounded part in the crap of a marriage she put on. Those animals that she wears met a fate far worse than having flour thrown at them. No sympathy from me. I doubt PETA will be hurt by that Fake Kardashian.

  46. 2outOf5 says:

She won’t wear fur, but her bag is leather. Stupid. Aren’t they botox users?? I bet next they’ll say the didn’t know every batch of botox was tested on animals. I can’t stand these chicks.

  47. Shy says:

I can’t stand Kardashians too. But I really hate all those things when people are throwing cakes, paint or flour at celebrities. It is bulling. And I hope that Kardashian will press charges. Those idiots need to know that you can’t throw things at people if you don’t like someone.

It’s the same as some students in school will throw paint at other students. Or your neighbor will don’t like something that you do and you will go out from your place and BOOM – he throws flour or cake at your face. And then will laugh and run away like it was something funny. Will you like it?

Because it’s funny that it was Kardashian this time. Everybody laughed. But I don’t like for example Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. So I can now go to her at premiere, scream: “you can’t act Kristen. Go to film school and learn” and threw cake in her face?

  48. ldel says:

love the shots of kim’s fat squishy ass and kloe’s gaping grouper mouth. i do so with theyd would fade aways like that vapid herpes ridden hilton….

bullying kim by dropping a flour bomb vs torturing and killing animals so that cow can vainly wear their carcasses? hmmmm, thats a tough one to weigh….not

  49. dahlia1947 says:

Ugh this annoys me! So Khloe’s proud of her sister for laughing off the incident (like a dumbass BTW) but Khloe should be hurt by her sister for continuing to wear fur after she posed for PETA!

It always stuck out in my mind how Kim could not stop wearing it around her sister to at least show some Respect for her views! This just confirms to me how shallow, self-involved and selfish Kim really is! But we already knew this. She makes me sick.

Her and her mother are one in the same.

I’m glad to know though that Khloe will continue to not wear fur! 🙂

  50. ldel says:

missed the tacky price tag sticker on K’s shoe…lol

  51. Frayed_Edges says:

This family makes me want to sniper the lot of them.

  52. Laura says:

Whatever celebs get it’s is NOTHING compared to what these animals go through when they are horrifically murdered. A little humiliation is nothing in comparison to being skinned alive now is it?! Regardless of who it is that got bombed, it brings attention to the disgusting way we think we can treat animals. The people who really NEED to wear fur ie those living in extreme cold, only kill what they need and they waste nothing…
